Designated funds shall be accepted only for those items approved in the budget or by the church board.  Where designated funds are given for other purposes, or where the designated project is fully funded, the board shall be empowered to release those funds to the general funds.  Wherever possible, the Board shall contact the donor to advise them of any such action taken.
